Real Wedding: New Braunfels, Texas

A Palette of Brilliant Blues and Mints

At Becca and Tyler’s summer wedding in New Braunfels, Texas, near Austin and San Antonio, the mood was set with a calming color palette of blues and greens – borrowed from the surrounding natural landscape. Her hair twisted and pulled into an elegant updo, the bride wore sparkling aquamarine-hued earrings that played perfectly into the color scheme. A step or two brighter than a traditional navy suit, the groom’s blue attire – complete with a blue bow tie – was made for a warm-weather celebration out in nature.

Elsewhere, nods to these summer hues abound, like the boutonnière pinned to the label of Tyler’s suit jacket, the flower girl’s mint-green tulle skirt, and the maid of honor’s dress. As Becca walked down the stone-path aisle, she held a thoughtfully designed bouquet of white roses, eucalyptus, and sprigs of blue delphinium.

A Nature-Inspired Ceremony

Hand tucked through her dad’s arm, Becca couldn’t help but smile ear-to-ear as she approached the covered terrace. There, under its peaked roof, Becca and Tyler exchanged their vows in the presence of friends and family. The setup for the occasion was perfect: crisp-white chairs on an immaculately manicured lawn, and a stunning stone platform framed by a wooden pavilion.

Of course, it’s impossible not to mention the breathtaking landscape of Texas Hill Country, close to Austin and San Antonio, where the intimate ceremony took place. Think: towering trees, rolling hills, and lush greenery. All these elements and more came together to create matrimonial magic at Stonehaven Hall.

An Inviting Place to Party

After the vows were said and rings exchanged, Becca and Tyler, along with their wedding party, stayed behind for a post-ceremony photography session. Against a vibrant forested backdrop, the couple captured their blissful newlywed moments before making their way down a grand wooden staircase for a dramatic entrance. The reception was set inside Stonehaven Hall’s spacious ballroom, which boasts floor-to-ceiling wood-paneled and native stone walls, and dazzling chandeliers.

Every detail was meticulously planned and executed. Round tables were topped with elegant white tablecloths and soft ivory and gray accents. Sparklers went off as the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance together as a married couple. Speeches were given, happy tears were shed, and glasses were raised, toasting to Becca and Tyler’s new journey as husband and wife. Dinner commenced, giving guests another reason for celebratory clink-clinks and cheers!

An Evening to Remember

Next, it was time for the ceremonious confection – a contemporary showstopper of a cake dreamed up in ombré shades of blues and yellows, and decorated with blush-hued florals. (Guests were then treated to slices of cake served in casual-but-elevated serving dishes!)

With plenty of space to spare, everyone broke out into a dance, moving and grooving to the music all evening long. Of course, there were other fun-filled activities planned for the night, like a photo booth complete with props. Not only was it a fun addition to an already joyous event, it also allowed guests to let loose – all while commemorating Becca and Tyler’s nuptials.

For Ever After

After an exhilarating day full of emotional moments, the couple made their grand exit into the night illuminated by the soft glow of a dozen sparklers. Becca and Tyler paused for another kiss against a firework-like display of cold sparklers – a magical grand finale and a fitting send-off to the happy couple!
