Are catering and beverages included in your packages?
At Walters Wedding Estates, we want to streamline your wedding planning experience. That’s why our packages come with a lot of perks – including in-house catering and beverages. Although no outside food or alcohol is permitted, there are several customizable packages to choose from. All packages include service and staff, too.
What amenities are included in all customizable packages?
All of our venues include ceremony and reception, a backup plan for inclement weather days, setup and teardown of your floorplans, a one-hour rehearsal, in house chairs, tables, table linens, china, glassware, silverware, linen napkins, complimentary cake cutting. What do your food and beverage packages include?
Our customizable food and beverage packages include everything you will need for your reception. We also provide so many other essentials: tables, chairs, table linens, china, glassware, silverware, linen napkins and complimentary cake cutting. An added bonus? With our food and beverage packages, we also take care of providing service staff and security for your big day.
What about children's meals?
If your guests have tots in tow, don’t worry! Our food and beverage packages encompass meals for the little ones. Our kids’ menu options that will leave your ring bearer and flower girl happy and full.
Do you offer vegan, vegetarian, allergy-free and gluten-friendly entrees?
Absolutely. We want everyone to enjoy your wedding – and food is a big part of the equation! We strive to accommodate everyone’s needs and food preferences. Ask our Wedding Specialists and Planning Team about vegan, vegetarian and allergy-friendly options. They are happy to help guide you!
Can you create a menu that incorporates global cuisine, cultures, and traditions?
Yes! Our chefs are well-versed in all types of cuisines, and they can dream up a variety of delicious fare from Indian to Mediterranean to Halal. Ask our Wedding Specialists and Planning Team for more details on the different food options we can bring to the table.
How can I taste the food and beverages before my wedding day?
We love to host events, especially ones where you get to come and try a sampling of food and libations that you’ll eventually select for your own wedding! Stay up to date with any future happenings by keeping an eye on our events calendar. We’ll post any opportunities for you to taste-test and sip on our many delicious offerings.
Who cuts and serves the cake?
Our amazing service team handles all the details of your reception service, including cutting the cake, placing it on a plate (also provided by your venue of choice) and serving it to your guests. Don’t worry; you won’t need to lift a finger!
Do you offer on-site tours of your venues?
YES! In fact, it’s one of our favorite parts of the job. There is no substitute for a personalized tour. We suggest you book one even if you’re just a little bit curious. Ready to schedule yours? Let’s go!
How early should l book my wedding venue?
First and foremost, congratulations! This is a big milestone in your life and it should be celebrated. Take a moment (or two or three) to soak it all in! When it comes to booking your venue, there is no right or wrong. Some couples book 30 days ahead, and others book three years in advance! What’s more important is that you book your venue before you plan anything else.
How much does a wedding cost?
We get this question quite often and the short answer is that there is no perfect formula. Several considerations go into determining the cost of a wedding, including the number of guests, day of the week, the season of your wedding, and the packages and customizations selected. What should I consider when selecting a wedding date?
There are several considerations that go into selecting a date. Saturday is the most popular wedding date followed by Fridays and Sundays. If you are looking for additional cost savings, consider a weekday. Just think, have you ever looked at a wedding photo and thought “I wonder what day of the week that was on?’’ We didn’t think so. Plus, if Paris Hilton and Cameron Diaz can wed on a weekday, so can you! We also recommend first thinking of what month or season appeals to you instead of narrowing in on one specific date. This is especially helpful when the venue you LOVE is in high demand.
What is the best advice you can give someone planning their wedding?
Have fun! And try to keep it as low stress as possible. That’s why our customizable packages and Wedding Specialists are so important to us.
